As an award-winning company ranked in the “Next 20” Brands to Watch by Nation’s Restaurant News and Inc. Magazine’s 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Company List, Nékter Juice Bar set out to expand nationally to 425 restaurants by 2024. Driven by their vision to make juices, smoothies and acai bowls accessible to anyone who desires to live a healthier lifestyle, Nékter is always looking for ways to reach new customers. One way to increase customer reach is through their limited-time offers. To create cohesive messaging, eye-catching design and in-store assets that draw customers in, Nékter needed a strategic marketing partner.

Approach

Through guided conversations with Nékter’s internal team to discover what was working, what needed improvement and what their long-term growth goals are, the team became a reliable, go-to marketing source for Nékter. With open communication, art direction, partnerships on photoshoots, timeliness and fresh ideas, the team created all of the 2022-2023 LTO assets for Nékter. Each quarter, limited-time offers were brought to life with in-store point-of-purchase displays, such as window clings, menu clings and stanchions, as well as with e-blasts and social recommendations to create cohesive, cross-platform campaigns. Campaigns were inspired by the seasonal offering, industry research, deep dives into messaging that nest resonates with customers and what would draw the most attention. Through a combination of mood boards and sketches, the team would develop the creative assets from concept to full implementation. Seasonal promotions included the Keep It Real cleanse sale, A New Spin on a Real Family Favorite - the PB&J Trio, Taste of Summer Watermelon, Pick Your Pumpkin and Nék the Halls.

Impact

Increased foot traffic and app downloads

With cohesive branding for their limited-time offers and point-of-purchase (POP) displays that draw attention to the stores, the agency increased foot traffic to stores and encouraged app downloads. The retro-inspired branding for their PB&J trio along with the great-tasting products appealed to a wide-range audience and resulted in an extension on the menu that’s still available at select locations. Strategic recommendations to create cohesive campaigns across platforms were taken with the team’s social media team to extend their offers online, garnering engagement with their audience as seen through participation in their 2022 holiday campaign, “Nék the Halls,” which featured nine weeks of giveaways, gift card deals and a jingle on social media.
